The flight, which took place over three days, covered more than 500 kilometers of challenging mountain terrain. The pilots faced changing weather conditions and technical challenges, but their skill and determination led to a successful completion of this ambitious project.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Balkan air sports community and demonstrates the high level of expertise our pilots have developed. The team consisted of experienced pilots from Greece, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, showcasing the collaborative spirit that defines our federation.
"This flight represents everything we stand for as the Balkan Airsports Federation," said federation president Nikos Makrakis. "It shows how pilots from different countries can come together to achieve something extraordinary."
The route took the pilots through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Balkans, including the rugged peaks of the Dinaric Alps and pristine mountain valleys. Weather conditions varied dramatically throughout the journey, testing the pilots' skills and decision-making abilities.
Detailed flight logs and GPS tracks from the journey will be made available to the community, providing valuable learning opportunities for other pilots planning similar adventures.
